Dao Studio processes personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself.

• First and last name

• Date of birth

• Address details

• Telephone number

• Email address

• Account details (if applicable)

• Other personal data you actively provide, for example through correspondence, intake forms, or phone communication

3. Special and/or Sensitive Personal Data

When necessary, Dao Studio may process the following special or sensitive personal data:

• Citizen Service Number (BSN), only when legally required

• Health-related information relevant to training, massage, or treatment

• Data of persons under the age of 16 (only with written consent of a parent or legal guardian)

4. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing

Dao Studio processes your personal data for the following purposes:

• Providing and managing our services

• Contacting you by phone or email regarding appointments or services

• Informing you about changes to services, products, or policies

• Sending newsletters or relevant promotional information (with consent)

• Creating and managing client accounts

• Complying with legal and administrative obligations

Processing is based on:

• Your consent

• The performance of a contract

• Legal obligations under Dutch and EU law (GDPR)

5. Automated Decision-Making

Dao Studio does not make decisions based solely on automated processing that could have significant consequences for individuals.

Dao Studio does not store personal data longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Dao Studio shares personal data with third parties only when:

• This is necessary to perform our agreement with you

• We are legally obligated to do so

GENERAL CONDITIONS

12. Scope of Application

These General Conditions apply to all services, memberships, packages, and products offered by Dao Studio.

13. Services

Dao Studio provides:

• Personal training and functional training

• Sports massage and recovery treatments

• Wellness and lifestyle services

All services are subject to availability.

14. Bookings & Appointments

• Appointments must be booked in advance

• Dao Studio reserves the right to refuse service if safety, health, or professional standards may be compromised

15. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment

• Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a 40% cancellation fee or full deduction from a package or membership

16. Payments

• Payment must be made in full at the time of booking or as agreed

• Accepted payment methods include iDEAL, debit/credit cards, bank transfers, and approved mobile payment applications

• Prices may change without prior notice

17. Health & Safety

• Clients must disclose all relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, pregnancy, or health concerns prior to services

• Dao Studio may refuse or modify services if participation is deemed unsafe

18. Client Obligations

Clients must:

• Provide accurate, honest, and complete health information

• Cooperate fully with Dao Studio professionals

• Follow advice and instructions provided for safe and effective treatment

19. Conduct

Clients are expected to behave respectfully toward staff and other clients.
Inappropriate, unsafe, or disrespectful behavior will result in immediate termination of services without refund.

20. Liability

• Participation in training or massage services is at your own risk

• Dao Studio is not liable for injury, loss, or damage unless caused by proven gross negligence

• Clients are responsible for their personal belongings

21. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, programs, and materials provided by Dao Studio are protected by intellectual property laws and may not be used or reproduced without written consent.

22. Termination of Services

Dao Studio reserves the right to terminate services if these General Conditions are violated.
Payments already made may be forfeited.

23. Amendments

Dao Studio may amend these General Conditions and this Privacy Statement at any time.
The most recent version will always apply.

24. Governing Law

These General Conditions and Privacy Statement are governed by the laws of The Netherlands.
